The ‘Strummers’ Ukulele Group
Learning to play a musical instrument is not only beneficial for our physical and mental wellbeing – especially as we age – but is also fun – all at the same time!
Dave Williams and a league of Distinguished Gentlemen at SAMS meet every Saturday from 8am to 9:30am for a ‘jam session’ where they learn to play the Ukulele, improve their Ukulele playing skills and most importantly – have fun, friendship and fellowship.
SAMS can now boast having it’s own Ukulele band – called ‘The Strummers’.

As David has said: “You don’t need to read music or even be a ‘gifted’ musician. Once you know the chords – the rest comes easy as you learn new tunes.”
