It’s great sadness that we say “Farewell” to John Dutton. John and his wife: Irene are ‘pulling up sticks’ and heading off to Newcastle in New South Wales to be closer to his family.
John joined SAMS in April 2016 and dived straight into all things ‘Woody’. In the last ten years, John has contributed so much in creativity, mentoring and woodworking skill at SAMS. He will be very dearly missed by the SAMS community.
John and Irene were our Special Guests on Wednesday 15th of April where they enthralled the SAMS men and their guests with stories of their lives and past adventures. In turn, the event gave SAMS the opportunity to express appreciation and thanks for all that John has done – and to wish him and Irene well in the next chapter in their lives.
