It was a very important day on Sunday the 5th of October for the Riley Car Club. That was the day on which they held their annual car show. There were over 250 vehicles of all types, colours, makes and models – and just to add that country flavour: one tractor! The money raised from the car show was about $3,000 and went to help the Samford Rural Fire Brigade.
SAMS had a stand there as well which gave us the opportunity to not only sell some of our craftwork but also to make SAMS known to the wider community.
